Leading the regionalisation project for UOB TMRW Vietnam
My first project in UOB was a comprehensive content audit to prepare for UOB TMRW’s migration in Thailand. Building on that, I took on a bigger leadership role as the content lead for the Vietnamese regionalisation project.
The project
We held an app-wide content audit for UOB TMRW, taking into consideration new country-specific requirements and market insights we got from our research team.
My role
It was a familiar piece of work with a brand new set of responsibilities for me. Instead of primarily designing content, I focused on:
Identifying potential content challenges early and aligning them with stakeholders before delivery sprints started
(e.g. differing date formats, increased content length after translation, localisation strategies, abbreviation conventions for amounts)Reviewing work and offering guidance to ensure quality and consistency throughout this project and other markets
Advocating for user-centric content during weekly check-ins and sprint sign-off sessions
Keeping track of evolving business and design requirements
Collaborating closely with project managers to ensure the project is on track
