Leading the regionalisation project for UOB TMRW Vietnam

My first project in UOB was a comprehensive content audit to prepare for UOB TMRW’s migration in Thailand. Building on that, I took on a bigger leadership role as the content lead for the Vietnamese regionalisation project.

The project

We held an app-wide content audit for UOB TMRW, taking into consideration new country-specific requirements and market insights we got from our research team.

My role
It was a familiar piece of work with a brand new set of responsibilities for me. Instead of primarily designing content, I focused on:

  • Identifying potential content challenges early and aligning them with stakeholders before delivery sprints started
(e.g. differing date formats, increased content length after translation, localisation strategies, abbreviation conventions for amounts)

  • Reviewing work and offering guidance to ensure quality and consistency throughout this project and other markets

  • Advocating for user-centric content during weekly check-ins and sprint sign-off sessions

  • Keeping track of evolving business and design requirements

  • Collaborating closely with project managers to ensure the project is on track
